Matthew Trowbridge is a physician and public health researcher at the University of Virginia (UVA) School of Medicine. Dr. Trowbridge’s research focuses on the impact of the built environment on public health. Currently, he serves as the director and principal investigator for the Green Health Partnership between UVA and the U.S. Green Building Council (greenhealthpartnership.org). This multi-year initiative, funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, seeks to drive increased consideration of health and well-being outcomes within the real estate industry by applying green building principles and tools of market transformation.
